This is purely guessing if it works on or not, but it worked from me just now more then once. ZB rox no sarcasm here. There is another thread knocking about here on this but no solutions for me yet, will keep looking. After one of the options is selected the scene will be converted to mm and the X, Y, and Z sliders will be updated to the selected size and unit value. Expoting the mesh at different scale settings and changing the system units settings in max doesnt fix anything so far.
